Convened each year by WesWELL, the goal of the Sexual Health Expo to promote sexual health and responsibility and increase student knowledge of campus health resources. A variety of issues are addressed, including promoting healthy relationships, disease and pregnancy prevention, sexual violence prevention, current political issues related to sexual and reproductive rights, and more.  

To reach that goal, we are offering: 

• Tabling & fund raisers with the WesWELL PHAs, FemNet, Clinic Escorts, ASHA, SGAC, HealthCAN, Sigma Lambda Upsilon, Health Services and Oh My! Sensuality Shoppe. 
• Workshops presented by the WesWELL PHAs, WesKink and Sign House. 
• And our first ever Sexual Health Art Show…you be the judge of Best in Show!!! 

Bring $$$ for fund raisers, raffles and other purchases!

If you are interested in having the WesWELL staff member or a Peer Health Advocate present a health education workshop for your group or living area, it’s simple to request it.

Just go to www.wesleyan.edu/weswell and click on Request a Program. 

The online form will ask you for all the information we need to speed along scheduling your program request and help us both avoid exchanging endless rounds of emails or voice-mails. It’s that simple!

The PHAs are the soul of WesWELL’s peer-led health education outreach efforts and integral to the development and implementation of those efforts. Involvement in the group in intended to be a resource for your own education, and more importantly, for the education of the student body. We welcome students with interest in all health topics who wish to have a positive impact on the health and well-being of the Wesleyan student body.

Do you know what you are and are not willing to do? Once you know what your boundaries are, you can more clearly communicate it to a potential partner and be able to enjoy consensual sexual activity more!

Want to know all about the most prevalent sexually transmitted infection, the one that can result in cervical cancer and genital warts…but the one that actually has a vaccine to prevent it? This is the program for you!

BDSM Q & A - Presented by WesKink
A discussion of the ins and outs, ups and downs, and tops and bottoms of Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission, Sadism and Masochism. Come with questions or with knowledge to share; whether you’re an experienced player or have only ever been tied up in your fantasies, anyone with interest is welcome.

The Moaning Workshop – Presented by Emily Evnen
To moan or not to moan, that is the question! In this workshop, we’ll talk about the politics of moaning, myths surrounding moaning and finish up by doing some fun vocalizations!

Sex Sign Workshop! – Presented by Sign House
Learn to ask for what you want and to pick up cuties without saying a word! We will teach various words and phrases relating to sex, body parts, sexual acts and more in sign language.

WesSex – Presented by the Peer Health Advocates
The Peer Health Advocates will share a ton of information on how to protect yourself and your partner(s) from sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy, and how to create safer and healthier sexual relationships.
