Take the time to donate, and you can save three lives with your blood. Wesleyan will host a campus-wide blood drive on October 6th and 7th from 11:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. The drive will be held in Fayerweather - Beckham Hall, next to Usdan University Center. Just go to:
http://www.givelife.org [sponsor code: wesleyanu] and sign up for the appointment slot that fits your schedule best. Please feel free to email wesleyanblooddrive@yahoo.com if you have any questions.Your small act of donating blood (that only takes an hour) can make a difference in the lives of many. If you are not able to donate but would still like to help, you can!
To volunteer at the drive; send us an e-mail to the yahoo account, and we’ll get you connected. Thank you for your consideration.

Presumably, since it’s summer, you have a few more minutes each day to spend on food preparation than during the busy-ness of the academic year.
With that hopeful attitude, we’re looking for students, faculty and staff who want to share their favorite healthy recipes with the rest of Wesleyan. And since we can’t resist adding Wes to the front of everything either, they’re our own little collection of Wescipes!
Click on the “Submit a Wescipe” link in the upper right corner (or go here) for the details on what information to send us. We’ll publish the Wescipes periodically throughout the year. Be a WescipeCeleb!
And you can always click on Wescipes in the Categories list if you want to browse the archives for cooking inspiration!
Hi Wesleyan…
We were very pleased by the turnout for Sexual Health Expo on Friday. Thanks for making us part of your day! Funds were raised, new things learned…and unfortunately, two tables were stolen.
Sometime over the weekend, two of the tables we used were stolen from Exley. These tables cost us money to rent and now, to replace. The nearly $200 replacement cost will now come out of WesWELL budget, which means we can’t do as much programming for you, Wes.
I’m not looking to blame anyone — I simply want the tables returned so we can continue to provide you with the same level of health education programming we have always offered…which doesn’t come free.
If you know who might have taken them, please ask them to return the tables and/or leave an anonymous message on my voicemail at 860.685.2466 with the location of the tables. No questions will be asked. Thank you for any help you can provide!
Be well…
Lisa Currie
Director of Health Education/WesWELL

Will you be WesWELL’s friend on Facebook? Pretty please?
We promise an endless supply of condoms & oral dams for you!
Ok, we’d do that anyway, but we’re not above bribery to get more friends. Search for “Wes Well”. Thanks!
